Dr Daniel Schörling

Dr. Daniel Schörling is a Scientific Engineer at CERN. He studied at the Technical University of Freiberg, Germany, where he obtained his M.Sc. degree in Engineering in 2009 and his PhD in 2012.


During his PhD research, performed in collaboration with CERN, he specialized in superconducting Nb3Sn accelerator magnets.


Since 2011, he has been working at CERN on normal- and superconducting accelerator magnet projects for a number of present and future machines such as HL-LHC, LHC, CLIC, FCC, PS and ELENA.
