Accelerating Innovations in Precision Oncology
29 June – 10 July 2020 Archamps, France (Greater Geneva)
Precision Medicine is an emerging approach for disease treatment and prevention which has the potential to transform how we treat —or even cure— cancer by considering individual variability in genes, environment, and lifestyle for each person. But inefficiencies are slowing the advancement of this breakthrough treatment approach in health care.
The Precision Oncology summer school brings together leaders from the health care, scientific, technological, and business communities to speed progress in this growing area. Participants will emerge with novel research-driven solutions for building productive partnerships and reducing bottlenecks in the development, approval, and clinical use of targeted therapies.
During 12 demanding days, this exciting summer course prompts participants to rethink current approaches and explore new methods and models with a focus on :
o engaging with patients
o accessing critical data
o improving clinical trials
o targeting investments
With a deeper understanding of how personalized medicine works in practice, participants will be better prepared to interact and collaborate with leading players in cancer research treatment.
The Precision Oncology Summer School is an accelerated-learning program targeting a new generation of fixers who can apply creativity and human-centered design to improve cancer outcomes, reduce inefficiencies and improve the experiences for patients.
