Dr. Manfred Wendt

Manfred Wendt studied electrical engineering in Hamburg, Germany, and worked in the field of beam instrumentation at DESY between 1985-2005, and at Fermilab between 2005-2012.


Since 2012 Manfred has been a member of the Beam Instrumentation Group at CERN, with a focus on electromagnetic beam monitors, such as the LHC Schottky Signal Monitor and the BPM systems in the LHC and SPS.


Since 2013 Manfred has supported both JUAS and the CERN Accelerator School (CAS) with practical training in RF in particular helping JUAS students with RF tutorials and exercises in preparation for their exam.
