Dr. Nicolo Biancacci

Nicolo Biancacci received his PhD in Electromagnetism from La Sapienza University, Rome.

 

He joined the Instabilities and Collective Effects team at CERN in 2010 and he is presently one of the LEIR machine supervisors and chair of the ABP impedance working group.

 

His work covers  accelerators and beam physics with a focus on collective effects, characterisation of radio-frequency materials and computation of electromagnetic fields.
