Helmut Vincke is working since 2001 in the radiation protection group at CERN. He is responsible for all RP aspects of the Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) complex and he is the head of the High Level Dosimetry service at CERN. His scientific background is radiation physics, radiation protection and Monte Carlo Simulations focusing on that aspect.
Helmut is teaching Monte Carlo Simulation techniques in the field of radiation physics/protection at the Technical University of Graz (Austria). He is one of the two authors of the ActiWiz code, which is used in the field of material activation.
